A 2012 schedule has not yet been finalized. The truth here is that racer interest and input is needed in order for American DRAGCAR events to begin to be scheduled in any particular areas. Being Arizona based, Southern California, Nevada, and New Mexico will possibly be the first areas branched into but a big help in getting this to happen might be in racers themselve asking their local facilities about the possibilities of hosting an American DRAGCAR event. It's more likely that tracks will open their gates to the American DRAGCAR venue if they can count on a decent turnout of their own loyals entering the gates on raceday. A number of racers in various parts of the country are asking if and when they can expect a DRAGCAR event in their area, so you are not alone.

The next American DRAGCAR race will be outside of Phoenix at Speedworld Dragstrip on April 7th, 2012 alongside Arizona's Fastest Street Cars.

American DRAGCAR will be running a special "Stockers Only" class in addition to the DragCar and SuperDrag Eliminators.

The "Stocker" class will be open to all non supercharged or turbocharged V-8 IHRA and NHRA legal Stock Eliminator racers. This is a special one time showcasing for Stockers. They will be indexed according to their vehicle specifics just as in the DragCar Eliminator but will be running off of their customary 5 tenths full tree to allow for them to remain in their comfort zone and to avoid throwing them off in any closely following regular Stock Eliminator races.

The DragCar Eliminator will be open to all naturally aspirated V-8 racers and will be run on the standard American DRAGCAR 4 tenths full tree. Racers will be indexed according to their vehicle specifics. Qualifying will consist of two runs where the quickest full field will be established by their performance versus respective indexes. Those furthest under index will be termed "quickest" and will comprise the DragCar Eliminator field.

Other than 8 cylinder powered, supercharged, turbocharged, and non-qualifying vehicles for the DragCar Eliminator will all go into SuperDrag Eliminator in which all first round indexes will be reset in accordance with the respective racer's qualifying performances. Any racers running under these reset indexes by a sufficient amount during eliminations will still win their round and will have their indexes re-adjusted for the following round.
