EAA Looking for Board Members

The Electric Auto Association
(EAA) is seeking new board members for our 2012 elections. We are looking for energetic, highly motivated people to serve.
The EAA is a national and international non-profit organization with thousands of members and over 75 chapters. The EAA was founded in 1967 in San Jose, California. We are a non-profit education and advocacy organization whose mission is to accelerate the widespread adoption of Electric Vehicles.
Candidates for board positions should have an EV background, with business, marketing and media savvy. EAA board members are volunteers and are required to execute functional responsibilities and attend conference calls each month. If you feel you have what it takes, send an email with your bio, resume and a candidate statement explaining why you would like to be selected as a board member to the addresses below. Also include your areas of expertise. All Candidate statements will be submitted and posted in the December EAA newsletter and voted on by our members. Candidate statements should be about 500 words (1 page) including: Professional background, education, EV owner/driver (yes -no), relevant experience, Statement of Candidacy, EAA chapter affiliation, other relevant info.
