Here is what could be one of the first drag races between Volts on a dragstrip. It happened April 30, 2011 at Capitol Raceway.

Red Volt
Heat 1) 16.826 @ 81.24
Heat 2) 16.897 @ 81.63
Heat 3) Sat that one out

Silver Volt
Heat 1) 16.969 @ 80.90
Heat 2) 17.090 @ 80.34
Heat 3) 16.95 @ 81.44

Not bad times for an OEM hybrid. They were running on electric power during these runs . . . we think. (since there was a magazine article that indicated the engine could be geared to the motor)

To improve the times for next time the drivers were thinking of lightening the cars (removing floor mats and spare tire and getting lighter drivers and adjusting tire pressure and driving modes)

In the right conditions a stock Volt could do 15s!

We might. It depends on a rim size and HP.  If we can get the information we can suggest a size.

Tires: Goodyear Fuel Max P215/55R/17 low-rolling resistance BSW; all-season

Not much over 100HP  if that, on the stock tune.

We don't have anything that would work with that setup at this time. But if we do in the future we will post it.
