Is it just me or is Import drag racing melting away. With the wake of hybrids and fuel efficient cars, it seems like we are in a crazy gray area. I think with the rise of electric cars and magnatized engines, we will see amazing acceleration and top speeds. But, for now, its like...."HELLO...anyone out there?"

Where I stand, it's much alive. Alot of import racing back east, when the weather gets better. On the west coast you have alot of builds going on behind the scenes, so stay tune.

I love drag racing every weekend.

Here in California specefically southern California, things havent been better.  Imports are very much alive here still and i dont see a decline anytime soon.

Wow. Are you serious? Up here in Portland, it is half import half American muscle. And some of us are gaining respect WITHOUT turbo's!

We've run a couple of Import events and they're a blast. We'll be attending at least 3 envents this year (2011) in southern California. Good group of people and fun events.
