Mate, you have a chance of friending up for a lift to the track, but the issue is timing early and late.  A CAB, not in this town and if you can find one BRING ALL YOUR MONEY.  Mate the hire car is really the most practical way.  Again, because of parking most cars will be full, but we are a friendly bunch.

+1 hire a car now, it will be cheaper than last minute...cabs will cost you way more and be very inconvenient. Famoso is way out in the boonies and it willb e hard for cab to find you...

I'm a local and would offer a lift to an out of towner race fan. But I stay at the track.
Getting to the track will cost more than renting a car. Try one of the cheapie places.
